Mass Beekeepers Association  Fall Meeting 2016

Hosted by Plymouth County Beekeepers Association

Join us for the Mass Bee Fall Meeting which promises to be an exciting and educational event
featuring excellent speakers, vendors, honey baking contest ($100 prize), a silent auction and honey
show! This is a free event – however, registration is required. This meeting will also include special
announcements, a report from our Chief Apiary Inspector Kim Skyrm, the election of new officers and a business meeting.

HONEY SHOW: Honey show rules are posted here

GUEST SPEAKERS: Phil Craft and Steven Coy; there will be one talk presented by each speaker in the
morning and afternoon.

  • Phil Craft, retired KY state apiarist is well-known for his informative and entertaining
    presentations about bees and beekeeping. Phil speaks on all levels and most any aspect of
    hive management, disease, parasite and pest control.
  • Steven Coy is the current president of the Russian Honey Bee Breeders Association as well as
    an executive board member of the American Honey Producers’ Association and
    secretary/treasurer of the Pollinator Stewardship Council.

A special speakers’ dinner will be held on Friday, November 11th; more details to follow very soon.

This is a free event and all are welcome; registration in required to attend. A lunch will be provided
for an additional fee of $10 per person paid in advance by 10/31/2016.
